Description
How it works:
The treatment process shall have the following stages;
Stage 1: UV Sterilization
Water from the spring is passed through a UV chamber along the pipeline to the initial raw water tank. This is to sterilize the raw water and have it free from contaminants before the reverse osmosis process.
Stage 2: Activated glass Media filtration
Water from the raw water tank is then pumped through a media of activated glass before going through the reverse osmosis unit. This is to take care of any suspended particles and organic components, which should not be introduced to the Reverse Osmosis membranes.
Stage 3: Anti-scalant Dosing
An anti-scalant is injected in the feed water before it enters the RO Membranes. Its significant in keeping water hardness from precipitating during the membrane filtration process.
Stage 4: Reverse Osmosis
We propose the Epicenter Reverse Osmosis Unit Model IWTO2 (500l/hr).
The RO system Consists of; CIP provision system, pre-treatment filters, RO membranes, Post UV sterilization and associated plumbing and controls
The unit is mounted on a stainless-steel frame with components easily accessible for easy service. The unit comes fitted with a feed pump, 20inch cartridge and carbon filter, Stainless-steel high-pressure pump and 2No. Hidrotek A4040 membranes to purify 500litres of purified drinking water per hour.
Stage 5: Post UV sterilization before final use
