Fama center is a social enterprise that focusses on building national water resource and quality fingerprint database to help eliminate “one size fits all approach “in water treatment and development across Kenya. Using water quality data we are currently building and deploying decentralized organic water treatment solutions across Kenya..

Our mission is to use water quality data to optimize decentralized water treatment systems and bring transparency to water resource development anywhere in Kenya.

In our today’s livelihoods poor quality water can destroy lives, drive up costs and impact yield. Our goal is to eliminate safe water poverty by increasing access to affordable organic water treatment solutions in Kenya.

Our vision is to enable everyone self-develop and self-supply safe water across Kenya

Detailed Survey

At this stage we evaluate the following:

  • Study available client or community water sources quality conditions
  • Daily Fresh Water or disinfectants demand
  • Existing infrastructure

Stakeholders Meetup & Commitment

After detailed survey on our client or community needs we do the following:

  • We brief our client(s) or community on available appropriate solutions, potential savings and investment payback time
  • We agree on deliverables, delivery date(s) and payment terms

System Development/ Sourcing & Deployment

After reaching agreements with our client on the appropriate solution:

  • We either source the solution from our partners or build and customize it according to clients’ needs on our own. It all depends on the challenges we are addressing.
  • Then through close collaboration with our clients we deploy either water treatment system or disinfection maker systems as per agreed specifications.

Training & Maintenance

After deployment of the solution for it to remain functional all the time we conduct trainings on:

  • Day to day operations
  • Maintaince
  • Trouble shooting

Each donation is an essential help which improves everyone's life

We support all registered nonprofit organizations and community based organizations who are active in low income communities by providing a selection of our water treatment solutions at breakout costs for distribution to those in urgent need of quality drinking water
